Munjal, Founder of India's Biggest Motorcycle Maker, Dies at 92

Brijmohan Lall Munjal, who founded India’s Hero MotoCorp Ltd., died Sunday evening, the company said in an e-mailed statement. He was 92.

Munjal built Hero MotoCorp, formerly known as Hero Honda Motors Ltd., into the world’s largest maker of two wheelers. He also led the Hero Group into new areas including financial services, renewable energy, education and electronics, according to the statement.

The company didn’t provide a cause for Munjal’s death.
