Ecoplexus to Build $45 Million Solar Station in North Carolina

Ecoplexus Inc. will build a $45 million solar-power station in Whitakers, North Carolina, with 25 megawatts of capacity.

Solar Frontier K.K., a panel maker based in Tokyo, will provide 150,000 solar panels for the station, Ecoplexus said in a statement. The plant will start running later this year.

The station will produce enough electricity for about 3,800 homes, according to Ecoplexus, which is based in San Francisco.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
