Taha Names Bruce Deputy CEO in Plans to Boost Fertilizer Output

Taha International, which takes waste from aluminum production and turns it into fertilizers, hired Graham Bruce as deputy chief executive officer to lead expansion plans.

Bruce was hired from Oman Aluminium Rolling Co., where he was chief commercial officer, Manama, Bahrain-based Taha said in an e-mailed statement Tuesday. Before that, he was chief executive officer of Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill in Bahrain. Max von Arnim, partner at London-based private equity investor Fjord Capital Partners Ltd., was named chief financial officer. Fjord invested in Taha in 2013.

Taha should produce 1,000 metric tons of fertilizers in the year ended March 31, 2016, compared with 700 tons a year earlier, Bruce said by e-mail.
