Honda in Talks With GM on Cooperation Beyond Fuel Cells: CEOMa Jie
Honda Motor Co. is in talks with General Motors Co. on potential cooperation in addition to existing agreements on fuel cell vehicles, Takahiro Hachigo, Honda chief executive officer said.
The companies haven’t yet made a decision on cooperating with the U.S.-based carmaker, Hachigo said in an interview Saturday at a parade to mark the Tokyo Motor Show’s 60th anniversary.
Hachigo also said Honda aims to sell more cars in China next year than this year’s target of 950,000 units.
