A South African prisons committee will Monday review paralympian Oscar Pistorius’ bid for an early release from prison for the manslaughter of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

A parole board is meeting to review a decision to release Pistorius under supervision after he served 10 months of a five-year sentence in August for killing Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day two years ago, Manelisi Wolela, a spokesman for the Department of Correctional Services, said by phone.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
