Saudi Authorities Kill An Islamic State Suspect, SPA Reports

Saudi authorities shot dead an Islamic State suspect and arrested his brother after they killed several people, including a soldier, the state-run Saudi Press Agency reported, citing the Interior Ministry.

The dead soldier was the suspect’s cousin. Another soldier was killed in the shootout with the suspects, the ministry said.

Militant attacks have increased in Saudi Arabia after the kingdom started bombing Islamic State targets in Syria as part of a U.S.-led coalition.
