Pound Erases Gain Versus Euro After Rising to Highest Since 2007

The pound erased a gain that earlier pushed it to its strongest level against the euro since 2007.

Sterling was little changed at 70.88 pence per euro as of 3:33 p.m. London time, after appreciating to 69.89, the strongest level since November 2007. It fell 0.1 percent to $1.5732.
