Paris Chases Digital Future, First Woman Mayor Says
Gregory Viscusi and Matthew WinklerParis has recovered from the terror killings of almost six months ago and is counting on technology industries to drive growth, Anne Hidalgo, the French capital’s mayor, said in an interview.
“Right after the attacks there was quite a significant decrease in tourist visits, because many people were afraid of traveling,” Hidalgo said in her office at City Hall. “I think it’s over. Hotels are fully booked, many great events are going on right now. Activity is back.”
