BT Sees Sales Increase as It Lures Fiber Customers With Free TV

Updated on

BT Group Plc forecast sales will start rising again as the largest U.K. broadband provider’s push to win customers for its high-speed fiber network pays off.

Underlying revenue -- which excludes fees from connecting network traffic, acquisition expenses and currency fluctuations -- will increase in the year ended March 2016 after shrinking 0.4 percent last year, the company said Thursday. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization will also post “modest growth,” the company said.
