Oak Hill Said to Hire Ex-AllianceBernstein Bond Trader McAlister

Oak Hill Advisors LP hired Max McAlister in London, according to three people familiar with the matter.

McAlister will trade high-yield bonds and loans at the firm, said one of the people, who asked not to be identified because the information is private. He traded junk bonds at U.S. investment manager AllianceBernstein Holding LP before leaving earlier this year, said two of the people.

James David, a New York-based spokesman for Oak Hill at Kekst & Co., declined to comment on the appointment. Sebastian Kadritzke, a spokesman for AllianceBernstein in London, said McAlister left the firm in February.

New York-based Oak Hill oversees about $25.3 billion and specializes in leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, structured products, distressed securities and turnaround investments, according to its website.
