Tiger Woods Slumps to 104th, Lowest Golf Ranking Since 1996

Tiger Woods has dropped to 104th place in the Official World Golf Rankings, his lowest since he turned pro in 1996.

Woods missed the cut at the Phoenix Open at the end of January after shooting an 11-over-par 82 in the second round, the worst score of his professional career. He hasn’t played since he withdrew during the first round of the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines on Feb. 6 with back problems. A week later, Woods said he wouldn’t return to golf until he was “tournament-ready.”
