Wisconsin an Underdog for First Time All Season Against Arizona

The University of Wisconsin is an underdog for the first time this season in their NCAA tournament quarterfinals matchup against Arizona.

The top seed in the West region, Wisconsin (34-3) is a 1 1/2-point underdog to the second-seeded Wildcats (34-3) tomorrow in Los Angeles, according to Pregame.com founder RJ Bell.

Wisconsin lost three times this year -- to No. 4 Duke in December, unranked Rutgers in January and No. 14 Maryland in February. The Badgers won the Big Ten regular season title by two games and took the conference tournament with an overtime win against Michigan State in the championship game.

The Badgers entered the National Collegiate Athletic Association tournament as the second favorite to win the title, tied with three other schools at 7-1, according to the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. Those odds widened to 8-1 heading into the team’s Round of 16 win over North Carolina last night.

In the other quarterfinals matchup already set, undefeated Kentucky is an 11-point favorite against Notre Dame.
