Snapchat Said in Deal for Fans’ March Madness Video Clips

Snapchat Inc., the mobile application for sending disappearing photos, partnered with Time Warner Inc.’s Turner Broadcasting and CBS Sports to publish fan videos from the March Madness college basketball tournament, according to people with knowledge of the situation.

Snapchat will curate videos uploaded by fans, including those chosen for a longer “story” collage that will remain on the site for 24 hours before vanishing, said the people, who asked not to be named because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly. The first March Madness story, uploaded on Monday, features fans of teams including University of Alabama at Birmingham and University of Notre Dame cheering their squads, as well as footage from inside arenas.
