Japanese Historians Seek Revision of U.S. History Textbook

A group of Japanese historians will urge publisher McGraw-Hill Education Inc. to change a passage in a U.S. history textbook about women trafficked to Japan’s military brothels before and during World War II.

The 19 historians will send a booklet to the publisher this week specifying eight points they say should be corrected, group representative Ikuhiko Hata of Nihon University told reporters in Tokyo on Tuesday.
