Foreign buyers, attracted by a rebounding economy and signs that a long price slump is almost over, spent 30 percent more on Spanish homes in the first nine months of last year than they did in the same period in 2013.

Spanish home prices posted their first annual increase last year since 2007 as the property market recovers from the worst recession in the country’s democratic history.
