Philadelphia Phillies Pitcher Cliff Lee Has Pain in Elbow

Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Cliff Lee is experiencing discomfort in the same elbow that caused him to make only 13 starts last season, the Major League Baseball team said.

The four-time All-Star, who will make $25 million this season, went 4-5 in 2014.

The lefthander has a record of 143 wins and 91 losses over 13 seasons with the Phillies, Texas, Seattle and Cleveland.

The team said Lee, 36, will miss at least his next exhibition start.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
