LeSean McCoy Agrees to $40 Million Deal With Bills, ESPN Reports

The Buffalo Bills and LeSean McCoy agreed to a five-year contract worth $40 million, ESPN reported, citing agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Buffalo and the Philadelphia Eagles reached a deal last week that will send the three-time Pro Bowl running back to the Bills for linebacker Kiko Alonso. The signing will become official on Tuesday, the first day of the National Football League’s new year.

McCoy, 26, was third in the NFL with 1,319 yards rushing last season, and led the NFL with 1,607 yards on the ground the previous season. His new contract is worth $16 million in the first season, ESPN said.

McCoy had spent his six-year career with the Eagles, running for 6,792 yards and 44 touchdowns. He also has caught 10 scoring passes.
