Societe Generale’s Lascar Replaces Petit in Structured ProductsYakob Peterseil
Julien Lascar has replaced Benoit Petit as deputy head of cross-asset solution sales for Western Europe excluding France at Societe Generale SA in London.
The role includes structured product sales. He reports to Marc El Asmar, global head of cross-asset solutions sales in London. Murray Parker, a London-based spokesman for Societe Generale, confirmed the appointment.
Lascar moved from Hong Kong, where he was head of fixed income and equity solutions for the Asia-Pacific region. He’s been replaced by Xavier Cahierre, who reports to Yann Garnier, head of Asia-Pacific sales, and Marc Saffon, head of cross-asset solutions in the region. Parker confirmed the changes.
Petit left SocGen in December and became president of Inter Action Consultants in Paris in January, according to his LinkedIn profile.
