Juniper Networks Inc. will add two independent directors supported by activist hedge fund Elliott Management Corp. as the network-equipment maker works to increase sales.
Jim Dolce and Rahul Merchant will join the board on March 1, Juniper said in a statement Tuesday. Dolce is chief executive officer of Lookout Inc., a mobile-security company. Merchant has his own investment advisory firm.
