U.S. Prepared to Halt Iran Nuclear Negotiations, Kerry Says

Updated on

U.S. President Barack Obama is prepared to halt nuclear talks with Iran if he believes they aren’t making progress toward a “feasible” agreement, Secretary of State John Kerry said.

“There are still significant gaps; there is still a distance to travel” in the discussions, Kerry said Saturday in London. He is set to travel to Geneva on Sunday for two days of talks with senior Iranian officials on Tehran’s disputed nuclear program before a March 24 deadline for a framework agreement.
