Moelis Board Adds Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline Veteran GreenstreetSonali Basak
Moelis & Co., the Wall Street advisory firm that sold stock to the public in April, named Yvonne Greenstreet to its board for her knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
Greenstreet has served as a senior executive at Pfizer Inc. and GlaxoSmithKline Plc during more than 20 years in that business, with roles in research, development and strategy, New York-based Moelis said Thursday in a statement. At Pfizer, the biggest U.S. drugmaker and an acquirer of companies, she oversaw medicine development and was a member of its specialty business global executive team.
“Yvonne’s wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and her proven track record as a highly regarded business leader will greatly benefit our firm and our clients,” Ken Moelis, the investment bank’s founder and chairman, said the statement.
Greenstreet also serves on boards at companies including Pacira Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Advanced Accelerator Applications SA. She is a member of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s scientific advisory board.
