China’s export machine may not be growing at the clip it once was, but the slowdown comes after some incredible gains. Adjusting for inflation, the value of Chinese exports grew almost twentyfold from 1990 to 2013, to $2.2 trillion, the highest of any nation. Here’s a look at the country’s exports in 2013, in order of category growth since 1990, shortly before the economy began ramping up.
