Crude Oil Prices Extend Advance to Halt Two Days of Declines

Crude oil halted two days of declines, with the U.S. benchmark grade climbing above $50 a barrel.

West Texas Intermediate rose as much as 2.7 percent to $50.17 and was at $49.99 at 8:27 a.m. London time. Brent rose 1.8 percent to $55.65.
