Amazon.com Inc. is getting ready to break out the results of its cloud-computing division.

When the online retailer next reports quarterly earnings, the company plans to make its Amazon Web Services a separate category in its financial statements, Chief Financial Officer Tom Szkutak said in a conference call Thursday.
