Ex-UniCredit’s Mustier Joins Tikehau Capital as Partner

Jean Pierre Mustier, the former head of UniCredit SpA’s investment bank, became a partner at Tikehau Capital, a French firm managing 5 billion euros ($5.6 billion) on behalf of institutional and private investors.

Mustier, 54, is responsible for the firm’s international development and will contribute to other activities, Tikehau said in a statement Monday in Paris. He started on Jan. 1 and is based in London.

Mustier stepped down as head of Milan-based UniCredit’s corporate and investment bank at the end of last year. In previous roles, he led the asset management division and the investment bank at Paris-based Societe Generale SA, where he worked from 1987 to 2009.
