Ackman Earns $4.5 Billion for Hedge Fund Clients in 2014

Bill Ackman, the hedge fund manager who wages campaigns against corporate management and boards, made more money for his clients last year than any of his rivals, according to a report.

Ackman, who runs Pershing Square Capital Management in New York, generated $4.5 billion for investors after fees, according to estimates by LCH Investments NV, a London-based firm that invests in hedge funds. O. Andreas Halvorsen, who runs hedge fund firm Viking Global Investors ranked second, making $4 billion.
