Belichick Says Patriots Followed Rules 100% Amid Ball Inquiry

New England Patriots Coach Bill Belichick says the National Football League team followed the rules “100 percent” amid a probe into potentially deflated footballs during its Jan. 18 conference championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.

“I believe now 100 percent that I have personally, and we as an organization, have absolutely followed every rule to the letter,” he said at a press conference today.

Belichick said the team conducted its own study to simulate a game-day situation in terms of the preparation of footballs.
