U.K. Stocks Extend Six-Week High as ECB Said to Propose QE Plan

U.K. stocks advanced for a fifth day, with the FTSE 100 Index extending its highest level in more than six weeks, as European Central Bank President Mario Draghi was said to have proposed spending as much as 1.1 trillion euros ($1.3 trillion) to revive inflation in the euro area.
