Note 1: LPI is a composite index based on diffusion indices for five major

components with the following weightings: new orders (30%),

business volume (25%), employment (20%), capacity utilization

(15%), and inventory turnover (10%). Note 2: An index reading above 50 shows expansion in logistic activities

while below 50 suggests contraction. Note 3: Fung Business Intelligence Centre is responsible for drafting

and disseminating the English LPI report for CFLP. Note 4: The "composite index" of the LPI is no longer an indicator for the

overall performance of the logistics sector. Business volume index

will be used as the overall indicator instead.
