West Texas Intermediate Crude Futures Rebound in New York

West Texas Intermediate and Brent oil futures rebounded after sliding to the lowest since 2009.

WTI for February delivery gained 55 cents, or 1 percent, to $54.16 at 9:55 a.m. in New York. The contract earlier fell as much as 1.7 percent.

Brent for February settlement increased 31 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $58.19 in London.
