EBRD Backs Polish Wind Farm With 23.8 Million Euros

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is providing 23.8 million euros ($29 million) toward construction of a wind farm in northern Poland.

The project in Kujawsko-Pomorskie province will comprise 13 wind turbines with a total capacity of 39 megawatts, the EBRD said today in a statement on its website. It will cost 67.9 million euros in total and is expected to be complete by the end of next year.

The wind farm will be built, owned and operated by a special-purpose company set-up by Green Bear SA, it said.
