Israel Abandons Missile Firing in Arrow Defense System Test

Updated on

A test of the Arrow missile defense system failed to go as planned today and a decision was made not to launch its interceptor projectile, the Defense Ministry said.

Officials blamed an unspecified change in conditions for calling off a full test of the Arrow, which is being developed by state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. and Chicago-based Boeing Co., the world’s largest planemaker.
