Adrian Peterson’s NFL Suspension Appeal Denied by Arbitrator

Adrian Peterson will miss the rest of the National Football League season, losing his appeal of a suspension after pleading no contest to child-abuse charges.

Peterson, the three-time All-Pro running back who was named league Most Valuable Player in 2012, on Nov. 18 was suspended without pay for the remainder of the season by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who also mandated that Peterson apply for reinstatement no sooner than April 15.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
