Ronaldo, who won the 2002 World Cup with Brazil, is moving into U.S. soccer.
Ronaldo is joining the ownership group of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, a team that plays in the North American Soccer League. He most recently served on the board of the organizing committee for the World Cup in Brazil this year.
