Bermuda to Host America’s Cup Following USA’s Biggest Comeback

Bermuda will host the America’s Cup finals in 2017, four years after Oracle Team USA completed the biggest comeback in the 162-year history of the regatta.

The American team, bankrolled by Oracle Corp. Chairman Larry Ellison, came back from an 8-1 deficit to beat Emirates Team New Zealand 9-8 on San Francisco Bay in September 2013.

The announcement was made on the America’s Cup website.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
