Giants Beat Royals 11-4, Tie World Series at 2 Games Apiece

Hunter Pence went 3-5 with three runs batted-in as the San Francisco Giants offense exploded with 10 unanswered runs to beat the Kansas City Royals 11-4, leveling the World Series at two games apiece.

Down 4-1 after the top of the third inning, the Giants scored 10 runs over the next five innings at AT&T Park in San Francisco. Pence and Joe Panik combined for five hits and five RBI while Yusmeiro Petit got the win in relief, extending his Major League Baseball postseason scoreless streak to 12 innings.

The best-of-seven series continues tonight in San Francisco, with Game 6 and, if necessary, Game 7 at Kansas City next week.
