Exeter Finance Names Thomas Anderson as CEO, Succeeds Mark Floyd

Thomas Anderson, 51, who’s worked at Capital One Financial Corp. and SLM Corp., will succeed Mark Floyd as chief executive officer of Blackstone Group LP-backed Exeter Finance Corp., according to a company statement.

Floyd, 61, said in the statement that he came out of retirement in 2010 to lead the Irving, Texas-based business, which provides auto financing. Floyd will remain a director.

Anderson began his career with McKinsey & Co., where he was a partner in the financial institutions group, according to the statement. He will begin at Exeter on Nov. 3.
