House Speaker John Boehner and top Democrats in Congress questioned today whether Secret Service Director Julia Pierson is fit to continue in her post following a series of White House security failures.
President Barack Obama must make a “swift” decision on whether the agency “is being well-served by its current leadership,” said Boehner, an Ohio Republican. He said the Secret Service “is beset by a culture of complacency and incompetence.”
