Kerogen Capital Said to Seek $1.5 Billion for Next Energy Fund

Kerogen Capital, whose founders worked in JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s Asia-Pacific energy and natural resources group, is seeking $1.5 billion for its latest fund, two people briefed on the matter said.

The private-equity firm, with offices in Hong Kong and London, will invest Kerogen Energy Fund II LP in small to mid-size oil and gas companies outside North America, said the people, who asked not be named because the information is private.
