Even as the Chinese economy shows further signs of slowing so much it could miss this year’s target of about 7.5 percent growth, don’t expect Beijing to open the finance spigots just yet. Friday’s credit figures, for example, came in below expectations. But as long as jobs are being created, China’s leaders will tolerate a gradual slowdown.
