AllianceBernstein Fixed-Income Trader Carl Sells Said to Depart

Carl Sells, a senior bond trader at AllianceBernstein Holding LP in London, has left the firm, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Sells joined the U.S. investment manager, which oversees $477 billion, in 2006 from Capital International Ltd., said the person, who asked not to be identified because the information is private. He has also worked in the emerging markets units of UBS AG and Credit Suisse Group AG.

At AllianceBernstein Sells was responsible for trading investment-grade and high-yield corporate bonds, according to the Association for Financial Markets in Europe.

Sebastian Kadritzke, a spokesman for AllianceBernstein in London, declined to comment on Sells’s departure.
