Russia’s prime minister fired Deputy Economy Minister Sergey Belyakov following his criticism in a Facebook post of a government decision to keep pension savings for the budget for a second year.

Belyakov made public comments about the government’s work, which went beyond his job responsibilities and served as grounds for his dismissal, according to a government statement.
