Israel Aircraft Strike Dozens of Gaza Targets Over Rocket Fire

Israeli aircraft pounded 50 targets in the Gaza Strip overnight, including homes, following a barrage of rocket fire on southern Israel, Army Radio said.

At least 12 Palestinians were wounded in the attacks, according to Ashraf al-Qedra, the Gaza emergency medical services chief. Relatives of Palestinian militants said specific homes were targeted.

The military spokesman’s office had no immediate comment on the strikes. It said about 85 rockets had been fired at Israel since yesterday, including six to eight today.
