Kvitova Wins First Set From Bouchard in Wimbledon Women’s Final

Petra Kvitova slammed an ace on her first serve of the match and won the opening set 6-3 against Eugenie Bouchard in the Wimbledon singles final.

Kvitova, 24, who won the Wimbledon title in 2011, had 17 winners in the first set to five by Bouchard, 20, the first Canadian to reach a Grand Slam singles final.

Kvitova had three service breaks in the set.
