Rain Delays Play on Second Day of French Open at Roland Garros

Rain delayed the start of play on the second day of the French Open tennis tournament at Roland Garros in Paris.

Play had been scheduled to start at 11:00am local time, with former champion Maria Sharapova of Russia taking on fellow Russian Ksenia Pervak on the main Court Philippe Chatrier.

Rain is forecast for most of the day at Roland Garros.
