With a slate of coveted vehicles, the Japanese carmaker is finally ratcheting down its pricing policies in a bid to catch up with more profitable rivals such as Honda and Toyota. “Our plan for fiscal year 2014 is to continue to try to take as much price as possible,” Nissan’s chief executive, Carlos Ghosn, said on a conference call this morning.
