Malawi Gets $35 Million for Water From AfDB, Daily Times Says

Malawi will receive $35 million in loans and a grant from the African Development Bank to improve water and sanitation in the country’s rural areas, the Daily Times reported, citing African Development Bank Resident Representative Andrew Mwaba.

The money comprises a $23 million loan from the African Development Fund, a $7.7 million loan from the Nigerian Trust Fund and a $4.8 million grant, the Blantyre-based newspaper said.
