Benin Gets $67 Million Water, Sanitation Grant From Netherlands

The Netherlands will give Benin 32 billion CFA francs ($67 million) for water and sanitation projects in the West African country through 2017, Ambassador Jos van Aggelen said.

The assistance seeks to promote “sustainable social and economic access to water and sanitation services,” van Aggelen said in a statement handed to reporters yesterday in the commercial capital, Cotonou.
