Villanova Falls to UConn, Becoming Highest Seed Ousted at NCAAs

Villanova University became the highest seed to lose so far in this year’s National Collegiate Athletic Association men’s basketball tournament, falling 77-65 to Connecticut.

The second-seeded Wildcats went scoreless for more than four minutes midway through the second half and never regained the lead against the seventh-seeded Huskies.

Shabazz Napier led Connecticut with 25 points despite battling a lower-leg injury.
