DeMarcus Ware Agrees to Three-Year Deal With Broncos, ESPN Says

Free-agent defensive end DeMarcus Ware reached agreement on a three-year, $30 million contract with the Denver Broncos, according to ESPN.

Ware, a four-time National Football League All-Pro during nine seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, will have $20 million guaranteed in the deal with Denver, which is contingent upon him passing a physical, the network reported, citing an unnamed source.

The 31-year-old Ware had a franchise-record 117 sacks for the Cowboys since being picked 11th overall in the 2005 draft. After starting every game from 2005-2012 he missed three last season due to injury, finishing the campaign with a career-low six sacks.

Ware had two bone chips removed from his elbow three weeks ago, , ESPN said.
